Dr. Emmite is a native Houstonian. She attended Texas Tech University School of Medicine in Lubbock and El Paso. She then completed an internship in family medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Emmite finished her psychiatry residency also at Baylor College of Medicine. She was a chief resident of the Baylor Psychiatry clinic. She lives in Katy, Texas, with her husband, teenage son, 3 dogs and a parrot.
